Grief

I was reminded this weekend that life is short and you never know when God is going to call you home. A good friend of ours lost his mom this past weekend very unexpectedly. It's so devastating to hear news like that - our hearts are grieving for them and with them, but at the same time, you feel hope because it's not forever. She was a Christian and is now in heaven in the presence of God and someday she will see her family again. In the midst of all the grief, what a comfort that is. God is good and He is faithful, even in the oh, so tough times.
