One Crazy Weekend!!!!!!!!

I have been wanting to post these pictures for a while now. May 10-11 was a CRAZY weekend!!!! Our house needed new shingles, so Conrad enlisted as much help as he could get and decided that Saturday, May 10 was the day to reshingle. Oh my goodness, what a busy day. There were like at least 10 people walking around on our roof.

Pulling off all the old shingles. That is the easy part!
Now.....how do we do this again? Conrad was a bit nervous about doing the valleys, but they did a great job. So far, so good! No leaks yet with all this rain we've been getting.

Coffee break time! Good thing Tim Hortons is just around the corner from our house.

The sun came out eventually and it was a gorgeous day for working outside.

Almost done the house and it's only the middle of the afternoon!!!!

The guys were working so fast that they got the roof of the garage done too!!!! Awesome!!!

So, after that long, exhausting day, we decided that we needed some more excitement in our house. (Actually it was just poor planning on our part) We had our entire families over for Mother's Day on Sunday after church. Again, crazy day!! It was really neat to have all of our 3 families (all the in-laws) get together for a meal. God has blessed us so much with the families that He has given us. So until the next gigantic family get together........

Needless to say, Monday morning was tough.
