Proud Parents

Welcome to the world little man! This is our son, Zachary Nathan Tycholaz. He was born on February 6, 2008 at 8:57am. He weights six pounds eleven ounces and is twenty inches long. He certainly didn't want to come out but with a little persuasion he decided to join us. Both he and his mom are doing fine and the whole family is suffering from lack of sleep these past couple of nights. Jennifer and I are still suffering from a little disbelief that he is here now and ours to take home. We are coping with it fine though. We are slowly learning more about his likes and dislikes but wish that the process could go a lot quicker. We are praising God that everything went well in the delievery room and the whole birthing process. We are so thankful for all the prayers from everyone from the start of the pregnancy when Jen had her operation to the other day when things weren't going quite according to plan. We know that this child is a blessing from God to us.

Shortly after birth Zachary is wondering where the world he is. He has been wide eyed right from when he first came out.

Conrad's parents admire the newest grandbaby, bringing the total up to three now.

Back at home he sleeps soundly in his bassinet. If only he could do this at night!

This is Jennifer's mom first grandbaby. She is holding Zachary right after birth before they wisked him away to monitor him in pediatrics across the hall to monitor him.

Checking to see if it is worth opening both eyes or if one is good enough. Both dad and son getting a little rest after the long night.

All the cousin together for their first photo op. and the new proud aunt in behind.

This is Jen's dad looking down proudly at his first grandson. Finally after a full day he gets to hold his grandson and see him look back at him.

And this is our new family now. We know that life will not be the same any more and are ready for the many wonderful adventures that God has planned for us.
